Social Enterprise Academy of Lanka Social Ventures(LSV) will be conducting a two day programme to build the capacity of farmer and community organisations supported under the Small Holder Agribusiness Partnership Programme(SAPP), on the 11th and 12th of September 2019 at the Sarvodaya Training Centre,Ratmalana.
This two day programme aims to develop the business governance, planning and managerial capacity of directors, committee members and farmer leaders who are part of the Small Holder Agribusiness Partnership Programme(SAPP). The Government of Sri Lanka, International Fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD) and private sector (Agribusiness companies),small holder farmers, participatory financial institutions jointly fund SAPP.
Uthsahaya Cinnamon Growers Association in Kamburupitiya in Matara district, Rambewa Backyard Poultry Farmers Company in Anuradhapura district and Upul kantha society representatives will be participating in the programme.
The programme will help the participants to develop business models and strategic business plans, create awareness and knowledge on business governance, planning and management for the society board members, introduce social impact objectives and impact measurement methods for the Board members and identify future business development needs and prepare an implementable plan by the participants themselves.
